The best Banana bread

I love making banana bread because -

1. It's so easy!

2. No added sugar needed.


It's a great snack, pretty healthy but it can be breakfast too.

You can leave it plain or you can add nuts or chocolate chips.


All you need is -


1/3 cup avocado oil

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 eggs

1 cup mashed bananas

1 3/4 cups spelt flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 hot water

1 teaspoon cinnamon


Handful of nuts of choice or chocolate chips (I like using these - https://amzn.to/2ByGV0S )




Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


In a large bowl mix all ingredients together (you can start with the bananas, mash them, then add the rest).


Spread batter in an oiled 9x5 loaf pan.


Bake for 50-60 minutes. Cake is ready when a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.


Want your cake faster? No problem! Use a muffin pan instead of a cake loaf. Muffins will be ready in about 20-25 minutes.
